This lasagna is hearty and to die for!. Make it an Italian night and try this recipe!
- 1 box of cooked lasagna noodles
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small container cottage cheese
- 1 package of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 package of shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 jar Prego marinara sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp. parsley
Preheat the oven to 350f.
In a pan, brown the ground beef and add salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder. Drain the liquids from the pan, and add the jar of Prego marinara. Simmer for 10 minutes on low heat.
In a small bowl, add the cottage cheese, parsley and salt. Mix well.
In a casserole/lasagna pan, layer, in the following order: Noodles Meat sauce Cottage cheese mix Mozzarella cheese Parmesan cheese
Repeat the layer in this order until the pan is filled. Cover the pan in foil and bake for one hour. Let it stand for 15 minutes before cutting and serving. Best served with corn and garlic bread.
